FIFA 10 Transfer Update Details & Release Date

EA have just released some details about the upcoming January transfer update for FIFA 10. The following teams are just some of those that will be getting an update.

Barnsley
Blackpool
Bristol City
Derby County
Doncaster Rovers
Ipswich Town
Leicester City
Middlesbrough
Scunthorpe United
Sheffield United
Sheffield Wednesday
West Bromwich Albion

Other leagues will updated accordingly.

As well as this a date has been announced for the update, it will be coming on the 24th February 2010 the day before Ultimate Team on both the PS3 and 360.

Next Assassin's Creed To Be Set In Rome

Ubisoft have revealed that the next installment of the Assassin's Creed series will be set in Rome.

The newest installment will also come with the promised online multiplayer and Ubisoft have stated that they are giving great importance to the multiplayer aspect.

New Forza 3 DLC Out Now

Microsoft have just released a brand new piece of DLC for Forza 3.

The DLC is the Nurburgring Track Pack, this iconic race track is now yours to run wild on.

"Available starting today on Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points, the Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit Track Pack has been meticulously re-created by the team at Turn 10 to reflect the legacy and excitement of the top German grand prix circuit,"

"The track pack includes two layouts of the circuit; the full 3.22-mile circuit with the famous Schumacher S corners, and the short 2.24-mile sprint circuit, both of which push car and driver to the limit."

Dante's Inferno DLC Plans Revealed

EA have come out and announced their DLC plans for Dante's Inferno over the next few months and there's a fair bit. No prices or exact dates have been announced yet, the list is as follows;

Dead Space Extraction Coming To XBLA & PSN?

A survey that has been sent out by Electronic Arts may hint towards Dead Space Extraction coming to XBLA and PSN.

According to the survey Dead Space Extraction may come to consoles in true HD and a speculative price of $15 has been placed on the product.

Another title mentioned is Planet Cracker which is an extension of Dead Space 2 where players can earn money to be used in Dead Space 2, however nothing has been officially announced.

Games On Demand Week 8/Feb/2010

This week sees 2 new additions to Xbox Lives Games on Demand.

The first of these Street Fighter IV and the second is Halo Wars. Sadly as usual it would be cheaper to buy a copy in the shops.

Ubisoft Announces Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Ubisoft have just announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the latest game in this long running series.

The game will be available worldwide by the end of 2010 Ubisoft have revealed.

The major piece of this announcement is that anyone who purchases Splinter Cell: Conviction will get exclusive access to the beta later on in the year.

Borderlands General Knoxx Gets Twitter

General Knoxx from the upcoming Borderlands DLC "The Secret Army of General Knoxx" has joined Twitter.

His opening tweet reads,

"okay. so my secretary signed me up for this thing.apparently i have to be careful about how many words i type or it won't send the entire me,"

"no one capitalizes in the future,"

He will be worth a follow just because it is rumoured that the General will be tweeting some actual useful information regarding the upcoming DLC and Borderlands future.
