The Resident Evil 5 demo that has been available since last month in Japan, the one that many tried to download and play before Microsoft went and pulled the plug. Well Capcom have announced an actual US version of the demo.
Capcom announced at their Co-op Multiplayer event in San Francisco last night that the US demo will be released early 2009.
Capcom have also confirmed that the demo will also be seeing a PS3 release.
The event also showcased some unseen levels, and I'm sure details will emerge of those soon.

Resident Evil 5 Ad, Jill's Death?
A new advertisement for the soon to be released Resident Evil 5 shows the main character Chris Redfield kneeling next to Jill Valentines grave placing flowers upon it.
What does this mean?
Does this mean Jill's death will play a part in the story?
You will have to wait until March 2009 when the game is released to find out, or wait for more details to surface at a later date.

Resi Evil 5 Online Co-op Disabled
Microsoft have disabled the online co-op mode that is available in the new xbox live demo of Resident Evil 5 or Biohazard in Japan. This is due to people using the trick shown before in this blog in order to download the demo when you don't live in Japan.
As a result of this MS are using some sort of IP recognition to block people from outside of Japan from using the online co-op play.
However all other parts of the demo are functioning so go enjoy your single player fun untill the game gets a release next year.
